Biomimicry Due to a Modifiable, Intelligent Shade System for Dental Trauma Patients
Tam, Clarence
In the case described here the need to preserve the intact residual dentine was a crucial issue in deciding to leave the majority of the preparation intact. The use of an intelligent and modifiable composite system was essential if this case, where the shade of the preparation had changed intraoperatively, was to be treated successfully. Amaris (VOCO) enabled the destroyed tooth volume as well as the contours and optical tinges to be restored with just one intelligent system with which unpredictable intraoperative aesthetic complications are easily overcome.
